Canary Woof
A personal project inspired by my love for dogs, built to support pet owners looking for individualized care.
The Challenge
Most pet sitting platforms are built for scale, but I noticed that many dogs, especially those with anxiety or special routines, need a more personalized approach. My friends already trusted me with their pets, so I designed Canary Woof as a calm, local alternative focused on care over convenience.
User Research
I spoke informally with a few pet owners in my circle and reviewed online feedback on Rover and similar platforms.
- People wanted clearer communication and profile transparency
- Trust was the #1 factor when choosing a sitter
- Routine notes and medical needs were often missed
Design Approach
- Welcoming homepage with direct contact
- Dog profiles with temperament and routine info
- Owner testimonials and photo gallery
- Simple, mobile-first layout

What I Learned
This project helped me think through content structure from the user’s perspective. I also learned how even simple Framer templates can bring an idea to life and build trust through design. I’d like to add more testimonials and real-time scheduling in the future.
